Donna and Kole Townsen are major Lockhart community members and contributors to the arts. Donna was born and raised in Lockhart and Kole has lived here for over 25 years. The Townsen’s are generous in their support for Take Me Home Transport and The Fur Ball, and they are avid cyclists so you can always catch them riding around town!
Minda and Colin attended the grand opening of Old Pal in 2021 and quickly fell in love with Lockhart, ultimately becoming residents. They have thriving careers in behavioral health care and private banking. In their free time, Minda and Colin seek the people they love, philanthropies, travel, dining, cooking, spending time with their two Australian Shepherds, and touring around town in their golf cart. Fun fact: They are the proud champions of the 2025 Lockhart Chicken and Chilly Cook-Off.
Kim and Earl Blankenship love Lockhart. Kim grew up in Lockhart, shaped by a close-knit community and deep family ties. Her father, Dr. Philip Wales, came to town in 1948 to practice medicine, and her mother, Elizabeth Schneider Wales, was part of a family long rooted in the community. Kim first brought Earl to Lockhart during their college years, and he quickly fell in love with the town’s character. Today, Kim and her sister steward their legacy family home, giving Kim and Earl a meaningful opportunity to reengage with Lockhart and see it with a fresh perspective. What they have found is a community defined by creativity, collaboration, and an entrepreneurial spirit that honors the past while building something new.

Sara has served on both the Lockhart Comprehensive Plan and New Recreation Center Steering Committees. Dan fronts the rock band Gravity Hotel and co-founded the annual Locktoberfest. Their daughter Libby rounds out the family band as a drummer.
