Hoppy and Linda Haden

Hoppy and Linda Haden have called Caldwell County home for over 31 years — working, living, and putting down deep roots in the community they love. Together, they own Clear Creek Inc. Construction and Lone Oak Construction Management, LLC, and operate a cow-calf ranch between Harwood and Delhi. Hoppy has served as Caldwell County Judge for the past seven years, previously serving as County Commissioner.
The Hadens are proud parents of five children — all Lockhart Lion graduates — and grandparents of five.
Their community involvement runs deep. Both have chaired the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce and co-founded the CTR Rodeo during their time there. They are longtime supporters of the Caldwell County and Luling Livestock Shows, and Linda served on the Caldwell County Go Texan board for several years. Hoppy served as president of Lockhart Little League for three years. Today, Linda chairs the Caldwell County Food Bank board, and Hoppy serves as President of the Capitol Area Housing Finance Corporation, helping bring affordable housing to the Lockhart area, and represents Caldwell County on several CAPCOG boards, including the executive board.
Hoppy and Linda are honored to be part of such a diverse and passionate group working together to promote tourism, the arts, and local businesses.
“Lockhart is a special place, and we are very excited to be part of an organization that supports tourism, local businesses and the arts.”
